Ready to Apply for Your Exam? Follow these steps:
Exam Applications are Valid for Three Months
Transcripts
After you apply for the exam, you must have your school send your official final college/university transcript. It must include the degree date and degree title. The degree must have also been awarded.
Read the online exam handbook for additional requirements on transcripts
Transcripts with a graduation date that is after the transcript issue date will not be accepted.
Transcripts are reviewed in the order they are received. This process can take up to 10 business days and may take longer during busy times.
Degree Verification Form (DVF)
Using the DVF allows students who have met all degree and graduation requirements, but will not receive their transcript due to the release schedule of their school, to take the exam.
Review the DVF policy before you request it
If you use this form when applying for the exam it must be within six months of your anticipated graduation date and within the same calendar year of graduation.
